On 30 November I went on my bike from WXC Edinburgh to Leiden having heard about it and wanting to see if I could become more Dutch.

To do this I cycled from Edinburgh via Jediburgh to Newcastle where I got on a ferry to the netherlands. Then I cycled to Leiden with its hardwood floors heraldry and hot chocolate.

Then I cycled around north/south holland a bit before going home effectively the same way getting back on 7 December
